I had a customer from Australia - this was a very nice experience. I developed a WordPress price calculator plugin that prepares a commercial offer for website users. The company produces custom metal construction for house buildings. The user is able to input all information about his construction and the plugin will check the data and prepare commercial offers and orders in PDF file format.
This WordPress plugin was not very easy and we developed several versions. Front-end of the plugin was implemented using JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS. The back end was developed according to ordinary WordPress plugin architecture. I used Unicode-HTML Free PDF generator (GPU license) for the generation of PDF files.
The plugin has difficult algorithms for calculations and checking. Basically, this was the most difficult part of this project. Fron-end gets and checks data via AJAX queries. All calculations are implemented on the back end using PHP.
Please take a look at the gallery to make a vision of how the plugin looks.
